1) Detention will now be conducted in the Morning 0710-0725. (Takes effect on 10th Jan Monday)

If a person is late on Monday, he will report for detention on Tuesday Morning. IF he turns up after 0720, he will not do his detention and will have to come back again the next day.
If a person is late on Friday, he will do his detention that day (Friday) after school.

6) 103rd Sports Meet
Mr Liew wants SJIPB to take more ownership of school events and activities.
The Sports Meet is one of it.
We will need a team of around 5 Prefects + 1 IC to assist the PE Department in managing and organising the Meet. Besides the 6, other Prefects might be called down to help as well.
Please think about it, application will be released soon.

7) Prefect's Assembly January 2011

Date: 18th January, Tuesday
Time: 1520 to ~1630
Venue: LT1

All Prefects are expected to be present.
If you are unable to make it please inform us ASAP.
Prefects who indicated that they are coming for the camp(And BBQ) but did not turn up, are reminded to bring S$10 along.

Post Camp Updates

Hey guys!

Right! Camp's over, school's starting and the sky is falling on Day 1.

1) All Prefects are to be at the Parade Square at 7am tomorrow Morning.

2) There will be prefects allocated for Recess duties. Just do it when it is your recess. EVEN IF IT ISN'T THE IC'S RECESS

December Updates

Hey Prefects!

Holidays are boring eh?
Anyway, after half a month of inactivity, here are some updates, do bear with us as it will be a looooooooong post. =D

1. Prefects who have not paid up for Prefect's Camp:

You are to come to the prefect's room on the 7th of December at 12.30pm to pay up.
If not, you will not be allowed to attend the Prefect's Camp, which may indirectly affect your Prefect-ship.

If you indicated that you can come, but something came up and crashes, please inform us by ASAP but latest: 20th December. Afterwhich, we will not refund you the $10.
(Going for Camp: $25, Not going: $15)

As we decided that there will be a BBQ dinner on the 2nd evening, extra cost is incurred.
Everyone going for the Camp is to bring an extra $10 for this.
If you do not wish to join us for the barbeque, please notify us ASAP, but latest: 20th December, afterwhich, no opt outs will be accepted.

4. Bonding Groups, Departments, S4 Posts, Duty ICs (DIC)

That is the finalised groupings and departments. While it is largely the same, there have been changes made so please check.

The term "Group Leader" will now be reserved for Leaders of the respective 10 Groups.
DIC will replace GL in its traditional use. Similarly this list is out, please check.

1) Find your Group (Group 1,2,3...)
2) Choose a box (Besides the GL's/AGL's)
3) Fill in your details according to the template

4) Open the Sheet "DOB & Class"
5) Fill in your DOB
6) Sec 2s, fill in your Posted Sec 3 Class as well

This is to be done by 20th December.

This is how the relay works:
1. Information is passed down among the EXCO
2. The EXCO will then CALL the GL
3. The GL will call the AGL and the members in Yellow Boxes. (Individually)
4. The AGL will then call the members in the Green Boxes. (Individually)
5. (For GL/AGLs) If calling fails, repeat after some time. By 9pm, if the Prefect is still uncontactable, notify the EIC.

Group Leaders are to organise a group outing by 20th December. (This is meant to be a Prefect's Outing, but due to size constraints, is now broken down into group outings)
(Ideas: Movie, Lunch, Shop around, etc.)

1 Sec 1 Prefect in each group is to write a short paragraph briefly stating what happened (Like a Journal). Photos are expected to be uploaded to Facebook too. (As prove that this really happened)

AGLs will take over in the absence of the GL .
