Camp Fees and Peer Tutoring
Hi prefects, I have 2 announcement for you today. The 1st announcement is about camp fees, and 2nd is about Peer Tutoring.
1st announcement:
This announcement goes out to all prefects. If you have not paid up, please pay me $12 whether or not you went for the camp or not. For clarification purposes, the money is for the handbook and T-shirt. Thank you.
2nd Announcements:
This announcement is for Secondary 3 prefects ONLY. This is because Sec 4s you are busy with "O" Levels and Sec 2s are the ones being tutored. We are looking for volunteers for peer tutoring. What you have to do for peer tutoring is that you have to stay back after school once a week to tutor a Sec 2 student who needs help academically. It will start in April and end at mid or late term 3. However, the schedule is not confirmed yet and I will update you as soon as it is. If you would like to participate in peer tutoring please approach Bryan Lauw or me and tell us what subject you would like to tutor and what day you would like to stay back. This is not only open to prefects, so Sec 3s, if you have any friends who would like to participate in peer tutoring, they can approach Bryan Lauw of 433 or me and tell us what subject they would like to teach and what day would be best for them to stay back. This is you chance to be Lasallian and help one of your fellow Josephians. Please help them and tell us your answer as soon as possible. Thank you.
Thank you for your attention.
Well thats all. Have a good Good Friday or what is left of it.

Good morning everybody, here's the list of things you need to bring for the retreat:
- Stationery [Writing Materials and Paper]
- Extra Clothing [non-School attire advised]
- Thumbdrive [if you have one]
- Laptop [if you have one]
- Diary
- Handphone [yes, really]
- $12 [Retreat cost = T-Shirt + Handbook]
- At least $10 [per day]
- Ez-Link
- There has also been a modification to the reporting time: it is now 0900 h, rather than 0800 h. So you guys can sleep in a bit. :)
- Dismissal time remains at 1700 h. It will not be at school though, so if your parents are picking you from school you will have to find your own way back to SJI.
- We will be going out for lunch, so please bring money and your ez-link. We also need to be able to communicate with you - hence the handphone.
- $12 is compulsory - for your tee and handbook.
- Report in any school attire you wish, but if you have any of the previous years' t-shirts, we recommend those. Uniform is not recommended, especially for committees like Furniture and Noticeboard. Any footwear is fine except slippers, because certain comms may be moving around a lot.
- Laptops and thumbdrives would be appreciated, so that data can be moved around more easily. But if you don't have one it's fine. We don't want 70+ laptops around. One or two per committee would be fine.
- The additional attire is not because we're going to get you wet [though we would like to], but it's for a secret activity to be named later...
- This retreat is not at all strenous, and is guaranteed reflections/talks free. We hope you will enjoy it!
- Anybody not coming, please continue to tag the tagboard!
